Serves: Makes: 9 pudding portions
A tasty and convenient Sunday dessert, in an easy-to-use kit. Best served with Snowflake Vanilla Custard Powder.
Ingredients
300g Snowflake Malva Pudding Mix and 2 apricot jam portions
1 extra-large egg
80ml cooking oil
200ml milk
Sauce
1 Brown sugar mix
50g butter or baking margarine
250ml milk/cream/evaporated milk
Method
- Preheat oven to 180 degree celsius.
- Beat egg, oil, milk and jam and then add pudding mix.
- Beat batter with a whisk.
- Pour batter in a greased 20 x 20 cm ovenproof glass dish.
- Bake for +/- 25 minutes
- Sauce: Melt butter in a saucepan and then add the milk and brown sugar. Bring to boil and simmer for 5 minutes. Pour sauce over pudding immediately after baking.
